Our client is an international construction group known for delivering complex infrastructure and marine projects around the world. For a major project in Brazil, we are recruiting a Construction Manager (CM) to lead the site execution and planning of a major civil/marine project.
As a Construction Manager, you must have solid knowledge of how the Technical Office operates, as this role requires a strong interface between design/planning and execution. You will act as the primary operational lead, ensuring that all works are delivered according to plan, quality, and safety standards.
Your Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate day-to-day site operations and planning
- Liaise between the Technical Office and the site team to ensure constructability and sequencing
- Support and supervise the Chief Site Superintendent (GSS) and site supervisors
- Ensure optimal resource planning (personnel, equipment, materials)
- Follow up on technical queries and ensure that technical solutions are implemented efficiently
- Drive execution aligned with design documents, RAMS, and technical plans
- Monitor compliance with QHSE regulations and procedures
- Represent the construction function in progress and coordination meetings
Your Profile
- Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction
- 10+ years of experience in large-scale marine or civil works projects
- Strong technical understanding of execution drawings, methods, and planning
- Experience in managing multidisciplinary site teams
- Leadership mindset, able to coach and motivate others
- Fluent in English; Portuguese is a strong asset
- Willing to work on-site in Navegantes, Brazil
Languages
- English – professional proficiency
- Portuguese – highly preferred
