The Calculator position is of paramount importance to the company group's internal production facility, specializing in hot-welded steel structures. This role plays a vital role in project success by conducting precise technical and cost calculations, thereby empowering informed decision-making for management. It entails estimating resource requirements, analyzing quotations, and post-project evaluation to ensure project efficiency.

Key Tasks
- Conduct precise technical and cost calculations for various projects.
- Provide essential data for informed managerial decision-making.
- Thoroughly estimate required manpower, raw materials, and auxiliary resources.
- Analyze orders, review execution drawings, study material lists, and convert data into cost estimates.
- Compare quotes from suppliers and subcontractors to inform technical and cost assessments.
- Post-project completion, analyze variations between pre-calculation projections and actual resource usage.
- Stay updated through internal and external training and knowledge sharing with colleagues.
- Contribute to compliance with safety, health, environmental regulations, and workplace well-being.
Skills & Qualities
- Hold a degree in industrial engineering, civil engineering, or mechanical engineering, or possess relevant experience in steel construction.
- Accumulate a minimum of 3 years of experience in the field, with a strong affinity for steel constructions.
- Fluent in Dutch, with proficiency in English considered a valuable asset.
- Exhibit excellent leadership skills, including the ability to motivate and collaborate effectively with colleagues.
- Demonstrate exceptional communication skills, delivering ideas and messages clearly, persuasively.
