At Caffeine, we want to change how people consume live television - making it more friendly, connected, and fun. We are looking for a highly-qualified HR leader who will come in as our VP, People & Places and report directly to the CEO. This executive will be responsible for the People function (including Recruiting, People Ops, and Business Partners) as well as the Facilities and IT functions that together encompass the entire employee lifecycle. You will drive the vision and strategy of the People & Places team along with all related implementation, ensuring Caffeine employees have all they need to deliver on our goals and long-term vision.

What You'll Do

    • Lead the People function by empowering our managers and team to reach our goals
    • Partner with the Director of Talent Acquisition to achieve headcount goals and foster an outstanding candidate experience
    • Enable a world-class Business Partner function to help management build and scale highly-engaged and inclusive teams
    • Serve as a key thought partner — advising, mentoring, and influencing the CEO as well as the rest of the leadership team on matters of talent, succession, people development, and compensation
    • Implement an analytical, scalable, data-based approach to building Caffeine’s organization
    • Programmatically align strategic objectives with broader People strategies
    • Empower and support the Facilities and IT teams to build a workplace where employees can do their best work, constantly looking at ways to improve efficiency while being mindful of budgets
    • Build programs supporting Inclusion & Diversity at scale into our systems and processes
    • Be the culture warrior for Caffeine, with a passion for making our company an employer of choice

Who You Are & What You've Done

    • 12+ years of relevant work experience with exposure across all HR functions
    • Experience sitting on the management team with responsibility for a full P&L
    • Understands business strategy and operating plans, with the ability to create people solutions that will drive those plans
    • Enjoys and thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, and high-growth environment, preferably with some exposure to technology/Internet and start-up environments
    • Possesses a good mix of analytical sharpness and intuitive, creative pattern formation in approaching problems and open-ended questions
    • Skillfully works with and influences business leaders utilizing strong organizational and interpersonal skills
    • Focuses on and cares deeply about cultivating a strong employee experience
    • Displays a fierce passion for building high-performing organizations
