Job Summary:
The Director of Client Engagement (DCE) serves as a key ambassador for CAI, acting as the first point of contact for prospective clients and driving strategic growth across North America. This role is responsible for promoting CAI’s services, generating new business opportunities, and strengthening relationships with existing and potential clients.
The DCE works closely with the Director of Operations to develop and execute growth strategies tailored to the local market, while also supporting the execution of business development plans at the regional level. Collaborating with the Vice President of Sales and Account Management and the Marketing Department, the DCE ensures consistent messaging, professional proposals, and effective regional campaigns.
Key Responsibilities:
· The Director of Client Engagement (DCE) is typically the initial point of contact for prospective clients seeking information about CAI’s services. Acting as the face of the organization, the DCE educates potential clients on our offerings.
· The DCE collaborates closely with the Director of Operations to strategically position CAI’s services within their designated markets and support the RM in executing regional business objectives.
· Work in coordination with the Vice President of Sales and Account Management to apply business development best practices.
· Collaborate with the Marketing Department to execute targeted regional marketing initiatives.
· Maintain a comprehensive understanding of CAI’s service offerings and unique value proposition.
· Conduct research on prospective organizations and key decision-makers to identify new business opportunities.
· Monitor local and international industry trends to stay ahead of market developments.
· Drive business growth by increasing value from existing clients while also attracting new customers.
· Represent CAI at industry conferences, meetings, and networking events.
· Mentor and support CMs in developing their business development capabilities.
· Draft, review, and deliver high-quality, consistent, and professional proposals.
· Identify regional business opportunities that may have broader organizational implications and collaborate cross-functionally to maximize results.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field
· Minimum 10 years of experience in business development, sales, or client relationship management in the Mission Critical Industry
· Proven track record of meeting or exceeding business development and sales targets.
· Experience working cross-functionally with marketing, sales, and operations teams.

· Designs and implements systems and processes that simplify and enhance the customer experience with CAI.

$140,000 - $155,000 a year
Average base salary range - not including benefits, and bonuses.
