Job Summary: 
We are seeking a Vice President of Client Engagement and Marketing to lead CAI’s global client engagement, account management, and marketing functions. This executive role is responsible for establishing and overseeing account management processes, supporting strategic planning and forecasting, and directing the overall business development strategy. The VP will provide dotted-line leadership to Directors of Client Engagement (DCEs) worldwide and will develop training programs and toolkits to enhance sales capabilities across the organization. Key responsibilities include leading sales strategy discussions, coaching on cross-selling and upselling, increasing visibility of CAI’s services, enhancing competitiveness through impactful presentations and support materials, and management and oversight of the Proposal Support team. The VP will also be accountable for submitting an annual global business development plan and budget, and reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer. 

Job Requirements 
Experience & Background 
- Proven experience in sales leadership, account management, business development strategy, and marketing at a senior level. 
- Demonstrated success in managing global or regional sales and account management functions. 
- Experience in developing and executing strategic business development plans, sales processes, and marketing plans.
- Proficiency in delivering effective and winning proposals and bid defenses.

Leadership & Management 
- Ability to establish and oversee account management processes and activities. 
- Experience with dotted-line management of cross-functional or geographically dispersed teams (e.g., Directors of Client Engagement, Marketing and Account Managers, and Proposal Support team members.)
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach and mentor team members in sales techniques, including cross-selling and upselling.

Strategic Planning & Execution 
- Ability to support and contribute to global forecasts, annual business planning, and strategic updates. 
- Skilled in aligning regional strategies with overarching corporate goals. 
- Proven ability to coordinate and lead strategic sales discussions and initiatives.

Training & Enablement 
- Experience in creating and maintaining business development training programs and toolkits. 
- Ability to equip internal stakeholders (CMs and other agents) with the knowledge and tools to improve sales effectiveness.

Communication & Client Engagement 
- Strong presentation and communication skills to promote visibility of CAI's services and milestones to internal and external stakeholders. 
- Capable of delivering compelling, customized responses to RFIs, RFPs, and major project interviews.
- Able to craft and deliver global account management plans and drive outcomes.

Tools & Competitive Positioning 
- Proficiency in developing tools, templates, and content that support sales and business development activities. 
- Ability to enhance competitive positioning through innovative and timely sales materials.

Planning & Reporting
- Ability to create and submit an annual global client engagement and marketing plan and associated budget.
- Comfortable developing and delivering meaningful and actionable reports for all stakeholders.

Qualifications: 
- Extensive experience leading global sales and account management functions in a professional services or technical consulting environment. 
- Demonstrated ability to craft and drive global marketing strategy.
- Proven track record in business development strategy, including setting regional strategies and coordinating global business development efforts. 
- Demonstrated ability to support and contribute to global forecasts, annual planning cycles, and strategic business updates. 
- Experience in managing and mentoring sales, business development, and proposal teams globally.
- Ability to create and maintain sales training programs and toolkits tailored to diverse global audiences. 
- Skilled in crafting and delivering persuasive presentations in response to RFIs/RFPs and major client project interviews. 
- Ability to build relationships with internal and external clients and promote new services and milestones effectively. 
- Competence in submitting and managing business development plans and associated budgets. 
- Familiarity with relevant industry trends and ability to translate market needs into sales strategies and service offerings. 
- Comfortable reporting to executive leadership (e.g., CEO) and contributing to high-level business decisions.
