Our fast growing company is looking for a business-minded, data-driven Senior Financial Analyst to support the company’s decisions and performance. In this position you will analyze financial and operational data, build and support models and metric dashboards, prepare and present both quantitative and qualitative analyses.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Support annual budgeting and monthly forecasting process by maintaining and improving forecasting models and working closely with all company departments to understand priorities, assess resource needs, and analyze performance
Work alongside the CFO on the company’s long term planning, including new initiatives and capital needs
Develop business plans for new initiatives, markets and business models
Build and maintain reporting and analysis of each department and company’s overall performance; maintain and publish dashboards to clearly communicate relevant KPIs
Identify opportunities for automation of modeling and other process improvements
Develop analyses and presentations for Executive Team
Work closely with the Accounting and the Business Intelligence teams to ensure the production of accurate, relevant and timely information in a coherent and effective fashion
Qualifications and skills:
Advanced degree in Business, Finance or related field required (Master’s Degree in Business Administration preferred; CFA a plus)
5+ years of financial analysis experience
Self-starter, ability to work independently, to develop and execute a clear plan of actions based on goals
Great problem solving skills with the ability to fill missing gaps and find opportunities
Excellent project management skills to deliver project on time and within specs
Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
Effective communicator and collaborator
Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint Skills a must
Experience with accounting (including NetSuite), business intelligence and FP&A systems a plus
