Staff Accountant

Position Summary

CamberView seeks an experienced and highly motivated Staff Accountant to join our team.  The Staff Accountant will report to the Finance Director. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:


·        Assist Finance Director and CFO with key accounting and audit processes, including annual year-end audit preparation
·        Perform month-end close activities, including preparation of journal entries and account reconciliations in accordance with GAAP
·        Assist with foreign subsidiary accounting processes
·        Perform all Accounts Payable related functions, ensure all bills are processed timely and accurately
·        Perform cash management functions, record cash receipts and disbursements, process wire transfers, and prepare bank reconciliations
·        Prepare and process semi-monthly payroll and record payroll journal entries; keep abreast of current payroll laws and work closely with HR to ensure accuracy
·        Download and review Corporate credit card transactions, perform credit card reconciliations, and post transactions to the GL as part of the month-end close
·        Review employee expense reports, ensure compliance with Corporate T&E policies and process reimbursements on a timely basis
·        Process quarterly and annual tax filings and payments prepared by tax accountants
·        Prepare Forms 1099
·        Other ad-hoc accounting and finance projects and responsibilities as needed or assigned

A successful candidate will possess the following:
·        Bachelor’s degree; or equivalent experience
·        3-5 years of accounting experience
·        Previous experience processing payroll; or a desire and capacity to learn
·        Team oriented, attentive to detail, strong analytical and problem solving skills
·        Excellent organizational and time management skills; ability to adhere to deadlines in a fast pace environment without losing accuracy
·        Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
·        Eagerness to work in an entrepreneurial, results-driven environment
