Position Description

CamberView seeks a highly motivated Business Development Analyst to play a vital role in supporting the firm’s business development initiatives and outreach. This position will report to the Head of Business Development.

Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
·        Support the firm’s efforts for identifying and prioritizing client acquisition opportunities through research and analysis of Russell 1000 companies and their governance structures
·        Support the client lead generation process and follow-ups by becoming an expert in Salesforce; track required actions, responses, follow-up steps, and outcomes
·        Draft email communications to potential clients in the executive office or on boards
·        Extensive use of BoardEx application to analyze targets
·        Report key metrics and measures to gauge progress towards sales goals by producing accurate, useful, timely reports for senior management
·        Analyze data to identify ways to improve firm-wide business development success rates
·        Work with Partners to develop proposal materials specifically tailored for prospective clients
·        Conduct research as directed on potential new business activities to support Partners in developing a go-to-market strategy for new service offerings and geographies

Qualifications
A successful candidate will possess the following:

·        Bachelor’s degree with strong record of academic achievement
·        1-3 years of relevant work experience; previous sales, research or relationship management experience preferred
·        Knowledge and interest in financial markets
·        Strong written and oral communication skills
·        A self-starter with effective time management skills; ability to meet deadlines in a time constrained environment
·        Detail-oriented and extremely organized
·        Creative, innovative team player who displays sound judgment and strong interpersonal skills
·        Strong analytical skills; ability to conduct both quantitative and qualitative analysis
·        Expertise in PowerPoint and Excel
·        Prior experience using Salesforce a plus
 
Compensation

This position will provide a competitive base compensation, benefits package and incentive bonus based on the individual and firm’s performance.
