Role Description
Scope of Responsibilities & Position Expectations
• Deliver market outperforming Cambium Wi-Fi Enterprise APs (Access Points).
• Responsible for Enterprise Wi-Fi Access Points and cnMaestro [Wireless Controller and NMS] testing
• A good team player who can efficiently work as an individual contributor.
o Plan and execute test plans based on RFP. o Self-motivated with strong problem-solving ability and a drive to operate efficiently.
• Excellent debugging skills and ability to root cause and narrow down issues.
• Interacts with multiple technologists in the company, developers, industry influencers, customers, and project managers to evaluate feasibility of requirements and determine priorities for testing.
• The candidate should have experience in wired and wireless networking domain.
Knowledge/ Skill Requirement
Technical Skills
- Knowledge and experience in testing Wi-Fi, L2 and L3 Protocols like:
o 802.11 /a/b/g/n/ ax/ac/w/r/k
o IPv4/IPv6, TCP, UDP, ICMP, HTTP(s)
o RADIUS, TACACS+, DHCP
o VLAN, Route, Proxy servers, NAT
o VPN, PPPoE, L2TP, EoGRE, IPSec, QinQ, VXLAN
- Preferrable to have experience in testing Enterprise Wi-Fi AP (Access Points) and Controller Products.
- Must have experience in customer interaction and handling customer support escalations.
- Good to have knowledge on Wi-Fi and Networking security (DDoS (distributed denial of service) attacks, Rogue APs (Access Points))
- A curious mind-set to not only understand how things work and break but explore how they can be made better.
- Experience in testing Tools like Ixia IxChariot, IxVeriwave, Spirent is a plus.
- Preferrable to have Automation experience using Python.
