Cambly is an online platform for students of all ages to learn English in 1-on-1 lessons with a tutor over video chat. Every day, students in over 200 countries log on to Cambly from their laptop, tablet, or smartphone to practice speaking English. Many of our students don’t have access to high-quality English education where they live and don’t have the means to travel abroad, but by joining Cambly they are able to immerse themselves in an English-language environment from the comfort of their own home. Whenever a student has spare time, they can open the app and connect with a tutor within seconds. Students can choose to work with their tutor through course materials developed by Cambly, or to simply practice their English conversation skills without following a lesson plan. Because Cambly lessons take place between one tutor and one student via video chat, our course materials are specially designed to take full advantage of this unique format.
