CANImmunize is a Canadian-owned technology company specializing in immunization software. With over 10 years of experience, we developed the Canadian Vaccine Catalogue, the CANImmunize app, and most recently, ClinicFlow, an award-winning software solution that has powered COVID-19 immunization campaigns across the country. What is the opportunity?
We are excited to welcome an experienced and highly skilled Senior Full-Stack Developer to join our team and play a pivotal role in shaping our innovative software products. As a Senior FS Engineer, you will be instrumental in ensuring the successful implementation of our solutions, while keeping our business objectives in focus.
Responsibilities:
- Design, test, and deploy reliable, performant, observable, and secure code
- Transform UX/UI designs into interactive and visually appealing digital experiences
- Utilize React.js and React Native to create impactful web applications
- Leverage Node.js, AWS, and serverless architectures to deploy and manage applications in the cloud
- Support our junior developers, guiding them through coding challenges and fostering their growth
- Conduct code reviews, ensuring our code is clean, secure, and running smoothly
- On-call on a rotating basis (3 weeks every 6 months)
What you need to succeed:
- 5+ years of experience as a Full Stack Developer, with significant expertise in React.js and React Native
- Experience leading functional teams in delivering project work, aligning tasks with individual capabilities and growth objectives, understanding and removing blockers and experience mentoring junior members
- Proficiency in JavaScript, CSS, and HTML.- Strong front-end design and architecture skills
- Expertise in unit testing and a dedication to test-driven development
- Solid understanding, with at least 2 years of experience with AWS and serverless architectures
- Degree in Computer Science, IT, or a similar field, or substantial equivalent experience
