The Specialist, Search & Social is a mid-level position where you will focus on developing a deep understanding of and expertise in both Search and Social Media – specifically SEM and paid Social Media. The Specialist will assist the larger team in executing paid media tactics, optimizing campaigns, managing budgets, analyzing performance, extrapolating insights, and making recommendations based on in-market results from paid social media campaigns. Social media is a 24-hour, 7-day-a-week medium, so the work is fast-paced and often ad hoc. Working as part of a team in such an environment is crucial, as is a sense of innate curiosity, attention to detail, and a self-motivated work ethic. The Specialist is the subject matter expert and will participate in strategic conversations with various teams across agency, client, and partner teams, including Strategy, Digital Investment, Analytics, Programmatic, and Linear (TV/OTT).

In the Specialist role, you will have the opportunity to work across both Search and Paid Social as you venture to complete a predetermined checklist to determine your advanced mastery of each channel. Your ability to identify trends, stay abreast of industry advancements, and engage with new partners and vendors to seek innovation and opportunity is critical to your success in this role.

Your day-to-day work will include developing soft skills such as email correspondence, PowerPoint / Excel and presentation skills, client management, team management, and partner relationship management.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities include:
·       Manage day-to-day campaign performance and analysis by working with junior-level Analysts and the team Associate Media Director
·       Perform research to understand audiences and their behaviors.
·       Use data and in-campaign trends to identify opportunities for expanding or optimizing campaigns.
·       Evaluate creative ads for platform specifications and advise the client-led innovative team on best practices.
·       Accurately traffic, upload, QA ads, targeting parameters, and landing page URLs.
·       Perform account diagnostic checks, inclusive of providing daily pacing updates.
·       Run reports as scheduled and as needed, based on client-partner requests.
·       Monitor campaigns to ensure proper pacing and avoid under or over-spend, traffic abnormalities, and additional opportunities.
·       Provide optimization recommendations in an ongoing capacity.
·       Stay on top of the latest trends in tools, technology, Ad Products, and, more broadly, social media platforms.
·       Thru research, assist in developing Audience worksheets and help organize into a cohesive strategic campaign to present/review with clients for approval.
·       Based on client goals, identify audience parameters, critical ad units, KPIs, bid and objective types, budget allocations, and other campaign controls to ensure all Social & Search campaigns perform according to the brief and deliver on the measurement plan
·       Develop an initial draft of keyword lists and Search copy based on briefing materials for review and approval by the client team.
·       Bachelor's Degree
·       2-5 years of experience working in paid social media.
·       Proven ability to drive projects from start to finish.
·       Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
·       Strong organizational and analytical skills
·       Excellent time management skills and knowledge to follow through.
·       Extremely detail-oriented
·       Possess a solid and proven ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks flexibly and communicate priorities to Supervisor.
·       High-level proficiency and knowledge of Microsoft Office products as well as planning tools

$65,000 - $70,000 a year
Salary and Benefits
Actual base salary is determined upon factors such as experience, qualifications, training, certifications, and internal equity. The Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Base salary is part of a total rewards package that includes highly competitive benefits like generous medical, dental, vision, pet insurance, commuter benefits, disability and life insurance coverage, 401(k) matching, up to 14 holidays per year, a “Do Good Day,” and unlimited PTO.
