The Associate Buyer role is responsible for day to day maintenance of the Video media. As an Associate Buyer, one learns the tools, terminology and decision making used in media investment, and assists in the daily maintenance of accounts.
Associate Buyers develop a complete understanding of “the life of a commercial unit” (i.e. purchasing, tracking, impact on traffic, billing, stewardship of schedules and posting). Associate Buyers establish strong relationships with both the outside vendors and the internal teams to ensure that all media buys are well-executed. 
Associate Buyers report directly to an assigned Buyer and also supports projects delegated by the Supervisor. Buyers report directly to the Supervisors. Team workflow included for reference.


    • Provide admin/systems support to the buying teams under assigned clients
    • Develop a working knowledge of client’s goals, guidelines and strategies
    • Training in the systems and tools of buying
    • Become proficient in the pre-buy program and reports
    • Perform basic buying functions as instructed by your buyers
    • Prepare stewardship of all buys and stay current with all department tools and research
    • Review and maintain approved make goods and input into buy system
    • Review with buyers all billing discrepancies and resolve in a timely manner
    • Set-up and maintain any required reports as directed by buyer or Supervisor
    • Deliver post-buy reports to clients with the support of Buyer and Supervisor
    • Work with buyers to learn buying and negotiation skills
    • Receive hands on training that will prepare you for a career in media buying
    • Work with network partners to understand the offerings of different vendors in the video space


    • PC proficient and familiarity with MS Office: Excel, PowerPoint and Word
    • Strong attention to detail
    • Excellent organizational skills
    • Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload / project deadlines

    • Bachelor’s degree preferred
    • Current or previous internship within media / marketing services company a plus
    • Strong interest in media strategy / marketing communications
Exact compensation may vary based on skills and experience.
Base Salary:  $40K -45k + OT

Salary and Benefits
Actual base salary is determined upon factors such as experience, qualifications, training, certifications, and internal equity. The Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Base salary is part of a total rewards package that includes highly competitive benefits like generous medical, dental, vision, pet insurance, commuter benefits, disability and life insurance coverage, 401(k) matching, up to 14 holidays per year, a “Do Good Day,” and unlimited PTO.
