Lead a team in the creation, execution and stewardship of strategic multimedia plans for a multicultural brand. The Supervisor of Brand Strategy (multicultural) is responsible for communicating and managing client media needs with the different teams that touch the business within Canvas. The ideal candidate is well versed in multicultural advertising specifically Hispanic marketing. 

Responsibilities
Strategic Development
·        Collaborate with client and agency partners to develop and set forth the overarching brand marketing communications plan for the brand
·       Develop, implement and maintain strategic and integrated client media plans and marketing recommendations Build plan options that deliver against objectives
·       Focus on details, including having strong data/rationale support recommendations
·       Have an intimate knowledge of the client’s brand and product details
·       Be proactive: Show interest in constantly learning and growing
·       Continuously develop and improve procedures that will lead to more strategic/insightful plans and/or workflow improvements
Integration
·        Work collaboratively with multiple groups both internally and externally (collaborative groups include consumer strategy, creative, social, digital, programmatic, television, content/events, etc.)
·        Manage workflow and process procedures are followed and manage expectations accordingly
Manage & Mentor
·      Represent Canvas Worldwide professionally with clients and industry
·      Able to direct team and foster an environment for growth and learning
·      Ensure that deadlines are met, including managing expectations internally

·      Promote and open and supportive working environment where opinions, views, and ideas are welcome and shared
·      Ensure the team is informed of broader view of client needs and strategies

Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree
    • Multicultural advertising experience
    • 3-7 years of experience in Media Strategy or Planning
    • 2+ years mentoring and developing staff
    • Food and beverage product experience highly preferred
    • Proven ability to drive projects from start to finish
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Strong presentation skills, ability to communicate to internal managers and clients
    • Possess a strong and proven ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks with flexibility and communicate priorities to direct reports
    • Strong organizational and analytical skills
    • Excellent time management skills and ability to follow through
    • Extremely detail-oriented and precise
    • Proven ability to maintain strong internal, external, and client relationships
    • Experience with event planning/execution and 360 partnerships preferred but not required
$80,000 - $87,500 a year

Salary and Benefits
Actual base salary is determined upon factors such as experience, qualifications, training, certifications, and internal equity. The Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Base salary is part of a total rewards package that includes highly competitive benefits like generous medical, dental, vision, pet insurance, commuter benefits, disability and life insurance coverage, 401(k) matching, up to 14 holidays per year, a “Do Good Day,” and unlimited PTO.
