Reporting to the Strategist and Supervisor of Media Strategy, the Associate will assist in the development of strategic multimedia plans and recommendations, with a focus on digital media. This position will work with the team in all phases of the planning process, including research, creation, implementation, and stewardship. Candidate must be comfortable asking questions, have attention to detail and prioritize workday/deliverables. Being able to represent yourself in a professional manner is paramount, as this role will be present in many internal and external meetings.

RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Work collaboratively with multiple groups internally at the agency
    • Utilize research and planning tools to help generate and support insights
    • Focus on details, ensuring the highest degree of accuracy
    • Manage workflow, and make sure process and procedures are followed
    • Ensure that deadlines are met, including managing expectations internally
    • Become an expert in multiple planning tools & platforms including, but not limited to, Comscore, DoubleVerify, Prisma, Campaign Manager 360, Innovid
    • Participate in evaluation and activation of multiple media types: Branded Content, Digital Media (video, social, etc) and Print
    • Work directly with partners, primarily in the digital space, to RFP, negotiate and execute media campaigns
    • Manage screenshot/proof of purchase process
    • Organization of team deadlines, logistics planning, deck updates, data entry, data pulls, etc.
    • Represent Canvas Worldwide professionally with clients and industry
    • Be proactive: Show interest in constantly learning and growing
    • Ensure that deadlines are met, including managing expectations internally
    • Have an intimate knowledge of the client’s brand and product details, KPI’s, etc.
    • Maintain proper documentation so information can be easily retrieved

QUALIFICATIONS

    • Bachelor’s degree required in an advertising/media related program
    • Marketing Internships highly preferred
    • A solid understanding of basic math, especially algebra, would be ideal
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Possess a strong ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks with flexibility  (while communicating priorities to direct managers)
    • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products (particularly Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
    • Strong organizational and analytical skills
    • Excellent time management skills and ability to follow through
    • Sense of ownership and desire to drive projects from start to finish
    • Extremely detail-oriented and precise
    • A team player with a positive attitude
    • Interest in media (social, digital, print, etc.), marketing or communication (background in not required, but interest preferred)
    • Creative problem solver comfortable analyzing situations and building unique solutions
    • Will be required to live in LA and work from Playa Vista office a minimum of 2 days/week

$45,000 - $45,000 a year
Salary and Benefits
Actual base salary is determined upon factors such as experience, qualifications, training, certifications, and internal equity. The Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Base salary is part of a total rewards package that includes highly competitive benefits like generous medical, dental, vision, pet insurance, commuter benefits, disability and life insurance coverage, 401(k) matching, up to 14 holidays per year, a “Do Good Day,” and unlimited PTO.
