We are seeking a skilled Python Backend Engineer to join our growing team. You will be responsible for developing and optimizing our backend systems that power our Product. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of our systems, with a focus on enhancing the performance and user experience for our clients.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain internal services and APIs using Python
- Automate internal tasks and workflows for business teams
- Integrate tools into CI/CD pipelines
- Create internal web interfaces (together with frontend developers or independently)
- Join technical discussions and help make architectural decisions
- Write readable, testable, and stable code
- Work with other developers, DevOps, Security, and business teams
Requirements:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in backend development with Python.
- Strong expertise in FastAPI or similar modern Python web frameworks.
- Proven experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS), including deploying and managing production workloads (e.g., ECS, Lambda, S3, RDS).
- Familiarity with async Python and event-driven architectures.
- Deep experience with PostgreSQL and Amazon Redshift, including schema design and performance tuning.
- Interest or experience in leading technical initiatives and mentoring team members.
- Proficiency in workflow orchestration tools like Apache Airflow.
- Nice to have:
- Background in MarTech or communication platforms is a plus.
- Exposure to observability tools like Prometheus or Grafana.
