Our National Security Group is looking for senior developers that have a passion for software development supporting exciting customer facing engagements.

This role is an integral part of an elite team with diverse skill sets that design and delivers unique solutions that integrate a wide variety of Oracle commercial hardware, software, and cloud technology into secure, mission critical solutions for our government customers. Coding skills are required. As part of the consulting team, you will have the opportunity to work across multiple projects and customers, share your knowledge and insights, learn the latest and greatest technology innovations, and have the freedom and autonomy to put your creative technical talents to work. Individuals applying should have experience leading small development teams of junior and middle grade developers. Our current focus in providing cloud native solutions directly enabling our National Security clients. 

DESCRIPTION: 
CSG is seeking skilled Senior Developers who have direct coding experience and who have experience in developing code as a member of a team. Programming skills include demonstrated skill with JAVA. Other skills desired include JAVA Script, Python, Docker, Kubernetes, Jira, and agile methods. Individuals being consider for this job should also possess experience with cloud native techniques, preferable Oracle cloud, and the employment of micro-services. Both front end and backend coding experience is a bonus. Experience developing for the U.S. Intelligence community is highly desirable.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:  
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant quantitative field (engineering, computer science, statistics, mathematics, AI, ML, NLP.)
  • Masters + 3 years
  • Bachelors + 6 years
  • Associates + 8 years
  • No Degree + 9 years (have worked equivalent experience)
  • with 3 to 4 years of consulting experience preferred.


REQUIRED: 
 • Experience with entire software development life cycle utilizing languages like J2EE, Java, JavaScript, OJET, Perl, Python, SQL, Shell scripting, PL SQL, and other programming languages.
 • Hands-on experience implementing middleware technology such as WebLogic, Jboss, Apache Tomcat on Linux and Windows.
 • Experience with Oracle PGX, and Identity and Access Management is highly desirable
 • Experience mentoring more junior-level developers with technical expertise in full-stack development
 • Passion for technology, the curiosity and willingness to constantly learn new skills, work with new tools and discover new and innovative approaches to solving complex technical challenges.
 • Experience in articulating technical concepts to non-technical audiences and, vice versa, translating functional needs to technical solutions.
 • Passion for creating mission-critical capabilities that have not previously been attempted

Experience with any of the following is an added bonus (DESIRED) but NOT Required:
 • Oracle Cloud (OCI) (or AWS or Azure), especially in developing code and or SaaS for the same 
 • Experience as Technical Lead designing and implementing software applications on-premises and in Cloud environments.
 • Knowledge of Mobile device technology (Rooting/Jailbreaking, Android/iOS SDKs, 3G-4G-5G, etc.)
 • Experience implementing systems using Agile methodologies.
 • Experience working with Oracle Labs and the product teams to meet unique customer needs
 • Experience with the entire software development life cycle utilizing J2EE, Java, JavaScript, OJET, Perl, Python, SQL, Shell scripting, PL SQL, and other programming languages.
 • Experience or training in Oracle Visual Builder Studio or APEX
 • OCI IaaS and/or PaaS Certifications (Willing to attain)
 • Experience with advanced data analytics (BI tools, Graph Analytics, Spatial Analytics, Machine Learning, AI)
 • ETL technologies (ODI, EDQ)
 • Oracle Labeling Technologies (Oracle Label Security, Database Vault)
 • Linux or Solaris experience or Elastic
 • Experience with RDBMS (prefer Oracle) and Oracle's Autonomous DB
 • Experience with one or more application servers (WebLogic, Tomcat, JBoss)
