JOB DESCRIPTION:
"The System Engineer will be a part of the Infrastructure Team who are responsible for the following: DevOps, SRE, SA, SE, and ISSO responsibilities.
SE: Designing and maintaining the project architecture by utilizing tools such as: Kubernetes, TerraForm, AWS, Helm, etc.
Also includes being responsible for monitoring, maintaining, and configuring various cloud-based systems supporting the Capabilities Service Center (CSC) and assist in the execution of standard processes, application management, and development and maintenance of documentation and SOPs.
REQUIRED:
Experience with Cloud infrastructure and provisioning, knowledge of the purpose and operation of most common cloud services (i.e, compute, storage, memory, networking, load balancing, user access management, key management, and managed databases). Experience with Kubernetes (1 -2 years) (specifically cluster development, management, monitoring, and optimization), Authoring experience with Helm (creating & deploying), BASH scripting, and Linux. Background in Amazon Web Services (AWS), and System network and server administration.
DESIRED: Kubernetes, Helm, Terraform, AWS certification, Python, Ansible, OpenStack, Experience with containerization in Docker, Rook-Ceph,
