MISSION:
Our National Security Group is looking for a Data Scientist - Developer to strengthen our ability to deliver unique, intuitive, and exciting analytic applications and data concepts for our innovative emerging technologies.  

We’re charting new territory in analytic enablement---and need an imaginative and talented team of Data Scientist Developers to provide new ways to select, see, use, and exploit data.  We’re solving difficult analytic problems and empowering users through dynamic, flexible, and intuitive capabilities.  
We’re seeking high-performing candidates to design and implement novel mechanisms that enable users to collate data, discover insights, unearth buried tidbits, and tell compelling analytic stories.  

DESCRIPTION:
This role will develop Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Deep Learning technologies, leverage advanced algorithms, and implement top-level analytic innovations.  We want someone with an extensive background in data analytics development who loves to work with multi-disciplinary teams to construct truly revolutionary ways to enable analysis.  We need individuals who can incorporate ideas from diverse perspectives and implement algorithms in creative ways--including ways to understand, consume, and enhance data.  You’ll advocate for advancements that you know will resonate with the user.  
You will provide impact and influence how analysis is done.

What you’ll do big picture: 
 • Help define architecture and development processes to enable advanced analytics and data science capabilities
 • Ingest, clean, aggregate, integrate, build, train, evaluate, and visualize large datasets from various disparate sources to identify meaningful, actionable insights
 • Balance between product feature development and production operational concerns to create and deploy impactful technologies
 • Advance capabilities through automated monitoring, feature engineering, visualization, and deployment
 • Distill complex algorithmic solutions into accessible demos, presentations, and capabilities for technical and non-technical audiences
 • Solve operational/analytic problems with robust, statistically sound scientific methodologies and creative development
 • Promote flexibility and creativity in working with fellow data scientists and SW engineers to build out technology solutions in an ever-changing development environment
 • Stay atop current industry trends, best practices, and technologies Into the details
 • Develop, program, troubleshoot, and debug applications that consolidate and analyze diverse, structured/unstructured big data sources
 • Program, innovate, and implement advanced algorithms to address practical problems and build analytic products
 • Develop AI/ML, DL, and data analytics capabilities by writing creative code/algorithms, performing application testing, and developing interactive data visualizations with real-time flexibility
 • Create content and documentation to illustrate analytic capabilities and user impact
 • Construct data science use cases including data aggregation, feature engineering and customization, data/result visualization, and capability deployment/implementation/monitoring
 • Integrate stakeholder requirements to advance existing technologies and/or develop new capabilities
 • Leverage cloud (OCI) technology and build models with Python and ML/DL/NLP libraries (Pytorch, Tensorflor, Bid Data, Hadoop, HBase, Spark, etc)
 • Enable data analysis, interpretation, and insights for technical and non-technical users

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:   ML or AI degree preferred.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant quantitative field (engineering, computer science, statistics, mathematics, AI, ML, NLP.)

  • Bachelors + 6 years
  • Associates + 8 years
  • No Degree + 9 years (have worked equivalent experience)
  • with 3 to 4 years of consulting experience preferred.
