JOB DESCRIPTION:
This is an opportunity to be part of an exciting team that will be sure to see more growth in the future. This team is responsible for the creation of an analytic that is having an impact on world events. This group works closely with the mission group, so they can see immediate impacts their work is having. 

• Implements, tests, and operates advanced software security techniques in compliance with technical reference architecture. 
• Performs ongoing security testing and code review to improve software security. 
• Troubleshoots and debugs issues that arise. 
• Provides engineering designs for new software solutions to help mitigate security vulnerabilities.
• Contributes to all levels of the architecture and maintains technical documentation. Consults team members on secure coding practices.
• Develops a familiarity with new tools and best practices. There is an on-call component to this. 

REQUIRED:
• Willingness to support on-call status rotated throughout the team
• Familiarity with Git, Kubernetes, Docker, or comparable Devops experience
• Familiarity with Spring Framework/Spring Batch
• Familiarity with databases such as MongoDB and Elasticsearch
• Familiarity with test frameworks such as Junit and Mockito
• Familiarity with UI frameworks such as ReactJS
• Familiarity with agency data flow formats and standards
• Familiarity with analyst toolkit applications
• Recent work experience with Java (Maven) with some Python
• Recent work experience with Streaming data frameworks (Flink, Spring Cloud Data Flow)


QUALIFICATIONS: 

CERTIFICATION:  AWS Certification Required
EXPERIENCE: 
• Masters Degree + 6 years
• Bachelor’s degree + 8 years

NOTE: Degree in computer science or IT computer engineering from an accredited college or university.
