You will be joining a diverse team with a vibrant culture, where team success is as important as celebrating individual contributions Carbon is a high-profile start-up that is shaping its brand to support an unprecedented growth trajectory.  We are looking for a Marketing Operations & Finance Specialist to support the marketing team with financial transactions, detailed record keeping, and strategic analysis & proposals.     • Assist with expense payable functions including invoicing and vendor negotiations ranging from pricing, payment terms, and legal terms
    • Partner and collaborate with marketing teams to create investment prioritization as well as develop ROI analysis on marketing and brand investments
    • Support all supplier relationships on behalf of Marketing, holding regular quality / suitability reviews; implement supplier management models and work with Procurement to maintain cost effective pricing structures
    • Lead planning, forecasting and reporting cycles (annual, quarterly and monthly)
    • Partner with marketing and communications teams to determine quarterly budget requirements and provide monthly budget updates
    • Summarize and present complex financial information to senior management
    • Research and prepare evaluations on a variety of projects/problems (financial, operational, and cost/benefit analyses)
    • Identify business process improvement opportunities, develops solution options, engages management and stakeholders to align on decisions, and implement approved plans


    • BS/BA required in accounting, business, economics, finance, or related quantitative discipline
    • 2+ years in marketing, operations, finance, or accounting
    • Strong understanding of budgeting, corporate finance and accounting, contracts, and vendor management
    • Prior experience working with FP&A, accounting, and procurement teams will be very helpful
    • Experience in research, analysis and proposal presentations
    • Exceptional communication skills and proven ability to coordinate and manage deliverables across a diverse range of cross-functional partners
    • Strong organizational skills, self-starter, and ability to quickly identify and resolve inefficiencies
    • High-energy, a positive attitude, and accountability are critical for success in this role

Bonus Points

    • Oracle experience is a plus
    • Demonstrable experience working with marketing or sales teams in a campaigns or go-to-market support role
