CarbonCapture Inc. develops and deploys direct air capture (DAC) machines that can be connected in large arrays to remove massive amounts of carbon dioxide from the atmosphere. With a patented modular open systems architecture, our DAC platform allows for plug-and-play upgrades, mass production, unlimited scalability, and rapid technology iterations.
 
We are looking for a Director, Marketing who will play a pivotal role in shaping our engagement with media, key corporate partners, investors, and other stakeholders to advance our mission of combatting climate change. This role requires a strategic, results-oriented individual with an understanding of carbon offtake markets and business to business marketing.

Responsibilities

    • Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy that aligns with company objectives.
    • Enhance brand visibility and generate leads while considering all key stakeholders including NGOs, civil society, and government.
    • Develop CarbonCapture’s brand identity and ensure uniformity across all marketing channels, cultivating strong brand recognition and establish the company as a trusted provider of carbon offsets.
    • Lead marketing and stakeholder management communication plans encompassing advertising, public relations, conferences, digital platforms, social media, and content strategies to engage target audiences with compelling messaging.
    • Provide monthly tracking, analysis, and optimization plans targeting OKRs.
    • Support work by the Director of Government Affairs to develop an outreach plan to actively engage and collaborate with government, community, and media partners in communities where we operate.
    • Support executive team in the development of presentation materials and the delivery of outward facing data and reports.
    • Manage relationships with media outlets and journalists, create press releases, and drive coverage of CarbonCapture’s achievements.
    • Maintain competitive intelligence on key industry trends and competitors to drive our messaging.
    • Manage and optimize the marketing budget, vigilantly monitoring campaign performance to maximize return on investment.

Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
    • Proven track record of success in senior marketing roles with at least 10 years of experience.
    • Deep knowledge of climate, energy, and carbon offsets.
    • Superior writing and presentation skills.
    • Entrepreneurial spirit and the ability to flex and grow with the company; a willingness to step in and help out whenever possible.
    • Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
    • Demonstrated success in developing and implementing effective marketing and communications strategies that drive business results.
$120,000 - $160,000 a year
Pay is commensurate with experience (base: $120k - $160k + equity)
