We are looking for a driven Lead Radiologic Technologist (XRT) to join our growing team!
This position is primarily responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures to assist clinicians in the diagnosis of disease and injuries, mentor other XRTs and maintain quality and safety protocol for our radiology program. We are looking for someone with availability and flexibility to work weekdays, weekends and some holidays.

What You'll Do As Lead XRT

    • Prepare and position patients for diagnostic imaging while practicing radiation protection techniques to minimize radiation
    • Complete training and become certified with the Department of Transportation to perform Urine Drug Screens and Breath Alcohol Tests
    • Assessment and validation of currently staffed XRTs and collaborating with Clinic Manager 
    • Monitoring of QA procedures for Radiology Safety Program for both fixed and portable equipment
    • Ability to travel / Drivable radius for clinics in your designated area 
    • Review dosimetry reports and counsel employees as necessary
    • Attend site visits with Radiology Supervisor and CPDH inspections 
    • Monitor Quality of images, repeat film rates on a monthly basis and report to Radiology Supervisor
    • Training and competencies of new hire and annual for XRTs in clinics 
    • Ensure limited techs work within their scope of practice and at clinic locations with fixed x-ray machines
    • Periodically review each clinic in designated region to ensure limited techs are not taking images outside of their scope 
    • Act as the Liaison between the Radiology Supervisor & Medical Director 
    • Ensure clinic radiology binder and postings are compliant with CDPH requirements
    • Point of contact for radiology equipment and system troubleshooting and issue resolution

About You As Lead XRT

    • Advanced and specialized expertise in radiology, developed through job-related training and strong work experience
    • Act as a lead, coordinating, mentoring and facilitating the work of others
    • Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
    • 3+ years in healthcare leadership experience
    • Current CRT certificate 
    • Current CPR- BLS Licensure
    • Certifications: Current registration with The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), or with an equivalent Radiologic Technology credentialing agency
$45 - $67.50 an hour
Compensation is determined by a balance of factors such as level of education, experience, work history, and geographic location.
