Carbon Health is looking for a Medical Receptionist to join our team! Your role is so important to delivering the best patient experience as you are the first and last interaction of the clinic! We offer a modern, technology-driven paperless environment to reduce administrative tasks and streamline communication. This is a fast-paced role that calls for the ability to multitask, think on your feet, and work independently.

Location: New clinic opening :2915 184th Street SW (33rd Avenue W & 184th Street SW) Lynnwood, WA
Hours of Operation: 9:00 am - 7:00 pm 7 days per week
Schedule: Full time - Rotating schedule
What You'll Do
- Greet, schedule patients, verify insurance and collect copayments
- Introduce patients to the Carbon app and help them navigate it as needed
- Administrative work such as writing referrals and preparing lab paperwork
- Work collaboratively on projects with clinical leadership to enhance the patient experience
- Familiar with Apple products, including iPads and Macbooks and troubleshooting
- Able to remain focused and calm during stressful situations (high volume of patients that walk in and need to be registered, calling 911 and directing paramedics to patients that must be sent to the ER etc)
- Typing speed of 50+ WPM
- Experience with medical insurance preferred (understanding costs, deductibles, copays, coverage)
