As the Clinician Manager, you will build processes to drive consistent clinical and financial performance, lead your team through growth and change. You'll have a say in how your clinic recruits, onboards, and you'll mentor clinicians for up to 3 clinics.  You will work closely with other providers and professionals to implement care pathways and best practices.

Multiple locations: Grant (6572 East Grant Rd, Tucson, AZ 85715), Broadway (6303 E. Broadway Blvd, Tucson, AZ 85710), Harrison (1040 S. Harrison Rd, Tucson, AZ 85748), and Madera Village (9175 E Tanque Verde Rd, Tuscon, AZ 85749)

What You'll Do

    • Conduct patient-centric and thorough history taking and physical examinations, crafting evidence-based workups and treatment plans
    • Interpret x-rays, lab results and EKG's 
    • Triage and manage patient flow efficiently to minimize wait times 
    • Perform digital blocks and regional anesthesia, bedside procedures, including but not limited to laceration repairs, suture/staple removal, incision & drainage, foreign body removal, large joint aspirations, nail removal, joint reductions, splinting, venipuncture, intravenous fluid administration
    • Review and manage daily tasks, including patient callbacks regarding lab results
    • Provide oversight and lead day-to-day operations for your team of medical assistants and support staff 
    • Consult supervising physician based on scope of practice and patient needs 

    • Leadership Work
    • Interview, onboard and mentor clinicians
    • Identify clinical and patient experience educational opportunities for your team
    • Perform chart audits and one-to-one evaluations of clinicians on a monthly basis
    • Participate in special projects related to clinical quality improvement and innovation
    • Implement new clinical and operational process and lead the team through change 

About You

    • BC/BE MD or DO - Family Medicine, IM/Peds, or Emergency Medicine
    • Valid Arizona license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner and current national certification
    • Current, unrestricted medical license to practice in the state of Arizona
    • Maintain a controlled substance license along with an unrestricted Arizona DEA license 
    • Ability to consult and treat patients of all ages confidentially and remaining impartial at all times
    • Experience in ER, urgent care or similar setting (minimum 2 years experience)
    • Able to work two full weekends per month (required for full-time clinicians) 
    • Availability to work in other clinic locations and some holidays as needed (preferred)
