About The Role
As a People Team Coordinator, reporting to the Head of People Operations, you will collaborate closely with Talent, IT, HR, Payroll, Managers, and Employees to provide human resources support on a daily basis. We are experiencing explosive growth and bringing large numbers of new hires into our company each week. You will ensure that employees and managers have the information they need to do their jobs and to quickly take care of any human resources needs they may have … from answering verification of employment questions when one of our employees is applying for an apartment or loan, to helping a manager find the answer to a policy question, and everything in between. What You’ll Do

    • Respond to all general inbound employee and manager inquiries via HR ticketing system (Zendesk/Workday) in a timely and empathetic manner. Escalate to other People Team members and functional groups when needed. 
    • Ensure processes in assigned areas are completed in a timely, accurate, and compliant manner at all times
    • Assist with documenting workflow and procedures, and proactively identify opportunities for process improvements. 
    • Ensure all employee records in HRIS and HR databases are current, maintained with confidentiality and compliant with legal retention requirements.
    • Assist with HR compliance efforts (reporting, notices, postings, tracking training completion, policy acknowledgments and regular audits)
    • Support resolution of external inquiries and tasks with appropriate confidentiality, privacy and timeliness (personnel file requests, claims processes, etc.)
    • Generate employee letters and/or official documentation for status changes including shift or pay changes, position changes, location reassignments, transfers and equity grants.
    • Perform other administrative duties such as data entry, data reconciliation, mail merges, forms completion, and report downloads/uploads to systems and databases.
    • Assist in keeping policies and guidelines for managers and employees up to date.
    • Provide support for other People Operations programs and projects, as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

    • 1+ years of experience in Human Resources, Finance, or Legal operational role handling confidential data with discretion and professionalism
    • Customer service oriented with a passion for helping others find solutions to their questions while balancing the needs of the organization
    • Critical thinker with strong attention to detail
    • Systems/technology savvy with ability to learn new systems easily
    • Strong organizational, analytical, and multi-tasking skills, with the ability to perform under pressure
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Passion for problem solving
    • Proactive working ability - can get things done by seeking out solutions and anticipating needs
    • Proficient in GSuite, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) and HRIS systems. Zendesk, Workday is a plus.
