At Cardiologs, we aim to democratize access to expert cardiac care through medical-grade artificial intelligence and cloud technology. Our flagship product, the Cardiologs Holter platform, is a leading software for analyzing ambulatory ECG used to help diagnose over 1.8 million patients annually.
We are currently venturing into the remote patient monitoring space with the Cardiologs RPM solution, allowing patients to share their smartwatch ECGs with their physicians, who in turn use our cloud-based RPM platform to streamline ECG reviews.
In November 2021, we announced that we were being acquired by Philips to expand our cardiac portfolio.
We have an innovative, result-oriented work environment where we foster ambition and dedication while being mindful of our teammates’ work and achievements. We also nurture our company culture with monthly all-hands meetings and apéros, and other fun activities.

What you’ll do

In the clinical affairs team, as a Clinical Scientist, you will:

- Be responsible for the scientific aspects of some of the clinical studies done at Cardiologs, including research and validation studies.
- Provide study objectives definition, study plan, (statistical) analysis plan, and study report, and develop communication for research studies. Overlook the same topics and work with statisticians and physicians for validation studies.
- Work in contact with the data science teams to elaborate new research projects in AI and cardiology according to company priorities.
- Work closely with the clinical program managers and clinical data managers to ensure the scientific quality of the studies.
- Elaborate documentation/reports needed for internal communication, regulatory affairs, or other authorities.
- Provide at regular intervals literature review on points of interest and educate others.
- Participate in congresses in our field and share knowledge.

(While a good understanding of data science and machine learning is necessary, if you are more excited about exploring models and proofs of concept rather than creating convincing evidence of their clinical efficiency and safety, you might rather want to apply for our Data Scientist positions instead!).

- PhD in a biomedical and/or machine learning area.
- 3+ years of experience in a research lab/department.
- Solid knowledge of Python development.
- Experience in biostatistics, machine learning, and data science.
- Fluent in spoken and written English, and at least basic notions in French.
- Scientific publication experience.
- A keen interest in healthcare.

Nice to have:
- Previous experience with clinical studies and investigators.
- Experience in the healthcare industry, medical devices in particular.
