Fraud Analyst

Share a time when your analysis of transaction patterns revealed an unexpected insight. What data points did you examine, how did you validate your findings, and what measurable impact did your discovery have?
Describe how you would approach analyzing a sudden 15% increase in decline rates. What data segments would you investigate first, what hypotheses would you test, and how would you determine if any changes you implement are successful?
If given access to our transaction data tomorrow, what three metrics would you track first to assess our fraud health, and why? How would you know if these metrics were showing real improvement versus random variation?
