Role Overview

As a Fraud Risk Analyst, you will be responsible for a wide range of duties related to the detection, prevention and mitigation of existing and emerging fraud trends across our products globally. The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities, including a keen sense to recognize non-obvious patterns, analyze data sets in excel and have an inquisitive mindset. We are looking for an analytical team member with the potential to become a manager in the future.

Your future work will include

    • Monitor transaction queues to identify fraudulent activity such as account takeover, friendly fraud, suspicious activity etc,
    • Review cases and analyze data daily to identify fraud trends,
    • Respond to inquiries received from chargeback disputes, law enforcement,
    • Write reports and document evidence, findings and recommendations,
    • Provide subject matter expertise on fraud operation processes,
    • Participate in team meetings and present findings to colleagues and leaders.

What we are looking for in candidates

    • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience,
    • 2+ years of related experience in fraud risk operations,
    • Strong data and technology management skills including data acquisition, mining, analysis, data integrity management, metrics management, and action-oriented reporting,
    • Strong analytical skills relative to evaluating fraud prevention infrastructure and forecasting fraud loss trends,
    • Strong project management skills,
    • Effective verbal and written communication skills,
    • Proficient computer navigation skills using a variety of software packages including Microsoft Office applications and data analysis software,
    • Flexibility to work in shifts, during weekends and/or holidays or extended hours as needed,
    • Passion for fraud schemes and cybercrime investigations with a high level of attention to detail,
    • Must be a fast learner and willing to work independently,
    • Willing to do whatever is necessary to ensure the safety of our customers,
    • Roll-up-the-sleeves and no-task-is-too-small-attitude,
    • Managerial experience will be an asset.

    • Discovery phone interview with a recruiter (30 minutes).
    • Interview with Hiring Manager (30 - 45 minutes).
    • Final decision.
