We are looking for a Senior Regulatory Counsel to join and support the legal team's high growth and
help the team in delivering timely and efficient advice.
Your responsibilities:
- Advising on the company’s regulatory strategy and implementing key initiatives,
- Advising on legal and regulatory issues surrounding Ramp’s products and operations,
- Helping develop Ramp’s products by identifying potential regulatory issues related to the development of such products,
- Identifying legal and regulatory issues and providing legal advice to the business, particularly relating to U.S, and UK financial and crypto industry regulations, as well as EU financial and crypto regulations with a focus on MiCA,
- Preparing and supporting registrations and licenses applications,
- Managing relationships with the regulators,
- Liaising with external counsels,
- Providing advice to the team and, in particular, to senior management and the commercial team,
- Collaborating and assisting the compliance team as required,
- Participating in lobbying activities.
What we are looking for:
- 7+ years experience,
- Expertise in financial regulations regime (FCA, SEC, CTFC, etc.). Knowledge of crypto regulations in the UK and the US is a plus!
- You are a self-starter, a problem-solver and details oriented,
- Ability to organise, prioritise and meet deadlines yet remain flexible in an international and fast-paced environment,
- Excellent verbal, and written communication and interpersonal skills,
- Confidence in making decisions where there is ambiguity.
