The Role

    • We are looking for a bright and enthusiastic creative team player to help us create digital products that will enhance our position as the leading Digital Cancer Care solution. As a full time, permanent part of a highly ambitious team in a young Central London company, you will work collaboratively across Design, Product and Development teams as well as closely with the rest of Careology. 

    • As a QA Engineer you will be responsible for driving a quality focussed approach to development. You will use your analytical skills and attention to detail to deliver quality software (working on both our Digital Cancer Care app for Patients and Careology Professional. You will ensure that best practice quality assurance processes are adhered to and that quality is built into all levels of the software produced.

What will you get involved in?

    • Being actively involved in agile ceremonies and other meetings with the team such as ideation sessions, kick-offs, retrospectives and show & tell sessions with developers and Product colleagues
    • Work closely with Product and other teams to develop a clear understanding of the product domain and vision and to understand our users and clients. 
    • Be accountable for the quality of the products to be delivered
    • Collaborating with the wider Technology team to complete work within allocated timelines
    • Defining and capturing a range of test cases to cover the requirements using Zephyr
    • Discovering edge cases by performing exploratory testing across the products.
    • Owning the team’s bug backlog, liaising with Product and Technical Delivery teams to prioritise and schedule these for completion

    • You're an experienced QA Engineer with at least 3-4 years of commercial experience 
    • You have worked on both mobile and web products as you will be working on our key cancer app and clinicians’ Professional website
    • You are seriously excited by the opportunity to help build a leading offering in the fast growing health-tech sector
    • Happy to ask questions to get a thorough understanding
    • Has a strong sense of ownership and seeks to identify and make improvements within the organisation

    • You have experience of the following tools and technologies:

    • Jira
    • Zephyr
    • Automation testing frameworks
    • Slack
    • Previous experience in healthcare is a plus. Experience in the technology sector or startups and scaleups is key
    • Experience of working as part of a collaborative multi-disciplinary team
    • You have a strong desire to improve yourself by expanding on your existing skills and learning new ones
