Position Details

Position Status: Casual Location: Glenmore Park, Occupational Therapy Subacute 1E Bi-weekly Hours: 0 FTE: 0.00 Shift: Days Shift Times: 0800-1615 Union: HSAA Rate of Pay: $ 38.90 - $ 51.80

The Opportunity

This position is responsible for providing client care through focused assessment, treatment and discharge planning on our rehabilitation and recovery units, and contributing to our resident's quality of life through provisions of appropriate interventions to maximize safe, functional independence on our continuing care units. Other duties may include providing clinical supervision to support staff and students. Responsible for other related duties as required.

Program Summary:
Enhanced Regional Community Transition Program (ERCTP) – a short-stay restorative care program that supports medically stable adults who do not need an acute-care level of service, but may require additional assessment, recuperation, and therapy before returning to the community.

Qualifications:
- Graduation from a recognized Masters or Degree program in Occupational Therapy Registration with the Alberta College of Occupational Therapists (ACOT);
- Eligible for membership in CAOT; AADL Authorizer is an asset.

Experience:
- Experience using occupational therapy in a clinical and/or continuing care setting an asset.
