Position Status: Regular Full Time Location: Dr. Vernon Fanning Centre, Food Services BW Hours: 77.50 FTE: 1.00 Shift: Days Shift Times: 0800-1615 Union: Non Union Management Rate of Pay: $ 40.14 - $ 50.14 PCN: SS-FSM-Fan02

The Opportunity
Responsible for the effective and efficient production of quality food products and the provision of food and nutrition through food service delivery at the designated site(s). In keeping with Carewest's Frame of Reference, this position ensures food service delivery activities, such as receiving, distribution and inventory control at the designated site/s meets Carewest's expectations and customer satisfaction. Key accountabilities include managing and scheduling Food Services staff and volunteers, training and promoting a team environment and ensuring efficiency and delivery of excellent customer service. Performs other related duties as required
Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum graduation from a recognized program in Food Services, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Executive Chef preparation, or equivalent is required.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant management/ supervisory experience required.
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications required.
- Filemaker or other database experience an asset.
- Excellent leadership skills.
