The Opportunity

Position Summary:
Reporting directly to the Manager, Pharmacy Services and under the supervision of the Distribution Supervisor, this support position is responsible for performing the routine duties such as efficient use of pharmacy equipment and processing orders, which are associated with preparing client specific medications. This position also supports administration of Pharmacy services, including, maintaining inventory control and other related duties as required. The duties of this position are carried out in an environment of customer service.

Union: Non Union GSS
Shift Times: 0800-1615/0845-1700
Rate of Pay: According to qualifications and experience

Qualifications & Experience

    • A Pharmacy Assistant certificate or diploma is preferred
    • Basic Computer skills (MS Office and FileMaker) required; Experience in a long term or acute care hospital pharmacy is preferred; Experience in a community pharmacy may be considered.
