Head of Business Development

1. Setting personal targets with the Sales team on regular basis (ROP, volumes, sales visits, tel. calls, sales leads and quality reports, etc.), monitoring the performance level and work behaviour of the team 
2. Making sure the regional budget in ROP and volume is met
3. Developing own business and sales activities (active sales and business development) with A-customers and Key Accounts.
4. Implementing plans and goals in accordance with the defined personal and group plans and goals by selling services and representing the company on the market
5. Recognizing, mentoring and training management/sales potential employees
6. Creating, implementing and controlling strategic plans and goals related to the market representation policy and sales, in accordance with the regional and global plans and goals
7. Coordinating activities related to the market presence together with the managers of the product departments
8. Coordinating specific national level business ventures, goals and solutions with the Regional Director and the Chief Commercial Officer and managing their future implementation
9. Measuring and benchmarking the Key Performance Indicators (KPI´s) of the employees within the department he/she manages and for which results he/she is held accountable for (productivity and profitability at regional/national level), suggesting consequences
10. Creating and managing market promotions with a view to introducing the range of services provided by the company to the potential clients and actively involving himself in the sales of our services
11. Coordinating and managing tasks related to the marketing planning activities  and relevant market research
12. Leading, supporting, challenging, motivating and monitoring sales performance of the Sales in the department
13. Managing and developing global agents relationships for defined markets and trade lanes, steering the Sales campaigns, achieving market recognition
14. To take up additional assignments/tasks as required to meet with the Company needs.

Personal Qualification

    • Passion in sales, with good team spirit, communication skill,  interpersonal relationships; outgoing personality, quick response abd strong expression ability
    • Familiar with air & sea both export and import operation and price
    • Willingness and ability to travel
    • Willing to work under pressure and taking challenge

Special Knowledge

    • Computer basic knowledge, MS Office (doc., xls., ppt.)
    • FM3000 user know-how
    • S.P.O.T. know-how
    • English language
    • Mandarin language

Minimum Education /Qualifications/Experience

    • University degree in Business Administration/ Logistics or equivalent
    • With 10 years of experience in business development
    • Own goods with regular clients is preferred
