Manage the overall Tender Process  Drive a process with Sales/Product/P&L owners, which leads to a clearly defined tender strategy (how to win)  Define and drive project plans and communicate same to stakeholders  Coordinate, facilitate and drive winning tender process  Present tender approach/strategies through the sales owner to end customers  Establish database and virtual networks in support of tenders  Collaborate with main stakeholders, such as Sales owners and support people, Global Head of Sales & Key Account Programme, Global Ocean & Air & Supply Chain Product management, etc.  For RFIs –Key responsibilities are: • Drive the RFI response, if required by Sales • Support Sales with any parts of RFI, which isn’t standard For RFPs/RFQs –Key responsibilities are: • Facilitate pre-launch calls with Sales and product to clarify strategy  Receive tender from Sales, i.e. tender summary and clear plans on what we are positioned to win and value presentationcode
Tasks  Dissect and review tender documents in detail and validate summaries  Identify and summarize potential “red flags” (commercial/operational risks) in tender material  Work with Sales addressing “red flags”, as well as relevant functions/stakeholders, if any  Convert customer rate sheet into internal rate format  Identify what costs/rates need to be procured and what can be sourced from core tender database  Drive procurement (establish costs/rates) of the relevant services offered to customers  Interact and collaborate closely with the other global tender management teams with regards to cost/rate collection  Calculate relative and absolute profit estimates per service component for sign-off by Sales  Convert rate/cost input from CP stakeholders into customer rate sheets  On behalf of the Sales owner, hand in the final tender response to the customer

Core Experience:  5+ years of experience from Logistics Forwarding and Supply Chain Industry is essential  Specific experience with tender process  Commercial skills and capability to negotiate and collaborate with Sales and Product about “right cost” and “right price”  Advanced MS Excel skills  Strong financial/numbers acumen  Commercial insight and selling experience/flair desirable  Bachelor Degree/Level preferred  Written and spoken fluency in English
