cargo-partner is now looking for an Accountant to join our friendly team in Bratislava. If you are well-versed in accounting principles, you enjoy working with numbers and are eager to broaden horizons within the international company, this is the right opportunity for you.
In the role of the Accountant you will perform financial and administrative tasks, your other responsibilities include completing payments and controlling expenses by receiving payments, processing, verifying and reconciling invoices and statements.
Your tasks:
- Drafts correspondence for standard past-due accounts and collections, identifies delinquent accounts by reviewing files, and contacts delinquent accountholders to request payment.
- Creates reports regarding the current status of customer accounts as requested.
- Performing account reconciliations
- Create account statements
- Maintaining accounts receivable files and records
- Investigating and resolving any irregularities or enquiries
- Maintains and updates customer files, including name or address changes, mergers, or mailing attentions.
- Collaborates with the Collections Manager to reconcile accounts receivable on a periodic basis.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Working in SAP, AS400 and cargowise
We expect:
- Bachelor Degree in Economics, Finance or experience equivalent
- Communicational English, German is a big plus
- Experience in cash collection
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ideally experienced in SAP
- At least 3 years of experience in the finance/accounting field
