Role and Responsibilities
-Analyzing Regional Airfreight P&L account in tandem with the
National Product Manager and Branch Manager regarding
improving EBIT for the Region.
- Responsible for effective carrier negotiations for competitive
rates and carrier capacities. Cargo Sales Reports finalization for
the Region.
- Product development with Free weight optimization,
Consolidation optimization, Station Sales, Tarrif Management.
Contribute and collating market intelligence for the Global
RFQs and RFI for Airfreight inquiries.
- Contributing effectively in Trade Lane development initiatives
and new market development, especially hinterlands.
- Responsible to manage the complete Operations and the
Gateway activities for the Region.
- Contributing effectively for process improvement initiatives on
Pan India level.
- Responsible to oversee Operational Compliance in Air Export
and to ensure 100% deliverables for this important KPI.
- Performed general office duties and administrative tasks.
- Prepared weekly confidential sales reports for presentation to
management.
- Assisting Regional C&C team in recovering outstanding and
keeping the Regional DSO in check.
- Procuring effectively with local vendors and transporters and
assist in improving the region's DPO.
-Handling team of about 20 people including warehouse and custom clearance
Your Qualifications
- Graduate in any discipline. Post graduate preferred
- 8 - 10 years of work experience in Air Freight product
- Team handling experience
