We are recruiting an experienced HR Manager to join our Rotterdam branch and oversee our operations in the Netherlands.
 
Reporting to both the Managing Director for the Benelux and the Director Human Resources Northwest Europe, the HR Manager will be responsible for all aspects of HR in the Netherlands and Belgium including HR policy, employment law, recruitment, compensation & benefits, training & development, employee relations, and general HR administration. To succeed at cargo-partner you will need to be a determined and passionate HR professional that welcomes the challenge of working in turbulent and ever changing sector.

Responsibilities:
 

Employee Relations and Employment Law
·       Conduct regular communication with employees across all sites to recognize their needs and concerns
·       Provide advice on various legal issues to both employees and external parties and interpret company HR policy and procedures
·       Build a strong company culture with a high level of employee engagement
·       Lead / promote / support a fun workplace and set action plans for improvement
 
Training & Development
·       Support management team to analyse training needs
·       Take ownership of training program and responsible for the quality of training delivery
·       Evaluate the training service providers per the demands of company training
 
Compensation & Benefits
·       Oversee salary and welfare strategy for the Netherlands
·       Manage monthly payroll, benefits contribution and reporting to various parties
·       Ensure all C&B practices in compliance with the updated local government regulations, whilst keeping in line with the relevant company policy
·       Ensure the accuracy of all the salary payments, such as monthly salary, benefits contribution and bonus distribution etc.
·       Manage the performance management exercise including target setting, evaluation, annual salary increase, bonus etc.
·       Proceed all employee’s movements, such as probation completion, promotion, transfer, termination, etc.
 
Recruitment & Selection
·       Ensure all recruitment activities align with company policy and guideline
·       Conduct regular communication with new employees to support them integrate into the organization quickly
·       Mange the full set onboarding and off-boarding program for employee
·       Support the company on the promotion of employer branding
 
Other tasks
·       Proactively provide new ideas/suggestions to enhance the HR support to achieve the company business goals
·       Cooperate and collaborate with internal HR teams to achieve HR goals
·       Provide full support to the Regional/HQ’s HR projects
·       Handle formalities in conjunction with the entry of employees
·       Responsible for administration and execution of directive/policy/procedure/ manual/ workflow that issued from Regional / HQ HR
 

Desired skills/experience:
 
·       Previously held a senior level HR role
·       Employment Law Expertise: Netherlands is essential, Belgium is advantageous
·       Experience as an individual contribution HR Leader
·       Leadership and Relationship Building: We are seeking an individual who not only leads but inspires and influences positive relationships across the organization
·       Has previously held a HR Generalist role
·       Strong organization skills
·       End-to-End HR Process Mastery
·       Clear and effective communicator with exceptional interpersonal skills
·       Employee Relations and Payroll Expertise
·       HRIS Systems: Ideally Workday
·       Formal qualifications in Human Resources
