Key Responsibilities:

    • Manage all aspects of the entire People related lifecycle and lead the Hungarian HR and administrative team
    • Drive the company culture through HR programs that support strong business results and employee engagement
    • Strategic business partner to the top management of the Hungarian organization, responsible for supporting a forward thinking, effective and collaborative approach within management team in Hungary
    • Recruiting & selecting most fitting new employees (white and blue collar too) while ensuring also succession planning is in place
    • Maintaining organization staff, developing and performance management system, recommending changes and promotions, conducting and analyzing exit interviews
    • Ensuring legal compliance in HR while control and execution of the entire payroll and employment related duties
    • Supporting and developing HR strategies, monitoring and appraisal of employees performances
    • HR development, career path projections, training, learning +development (L+D), providing guidance on development for managers and their teams
    • Maintaining management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human resource policies and procedures
    • Working closely with all departments, assisting line managers to understand and implement policies, procedures and supporting them in all People related topics
    • Leading the company’s employer branding (schools, universities, job fairs, internet presence) activities and campaigns
    • Setting department and personal targets with superior persons on regular basis (targets achievement are controlled and measured by superiors), assuring the group target setting system is followed
    • Performance management and occasionally terminating employments in accordance with local labour law legislation
    • Perform other related duties and responsibilities as required 

What are we looking for?

    • 5+ years HR professional experience with End-to-end HR process knowledge
    • Bachelor/Master degree in Economics/HR/Psychology or relevant professional studies
    • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written in Hungarian and English (any other Eastern-European language is a benefit) and able to use situational appropriate communication techniques including consulting, influencing, information sharing and negotiating on complex topics
    • Ability to lead, motivate, influence and build trust based relationships across the business
    • Ability to lead the Hungarian HR and administrative team
    • Organized and disciplined with ability to manage multiple people topics at once
    • Employee relations and Payroll experience with working knowledge of HU employment law
    • Proven HR generalist or recruitment background at senior level, preferably within logistics/manufacturing/service industry sectors
    • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology or equivalent required
