We are currently recruiting a Business Development Manager to join our very skilled and dynamic team in Seoul, where we can offer some excellent career progression, a rewarding remuneration and benefits package alongside the opportunity for significant personal development.
What Your Role Will Be:
- Strategic targeting of small – medium sized potential accounts in terms of new business development activity.
- You will be supported by Inside Sales particularly with smaller accounts allowing you to focus on maximising revenue with bigger revenue accounts.
- With any existing accounts develop a strategic plan for each account with ideally a detailed analysis regarding potential market opportunities, value added services, market trends and strategy for safeguarding accounts from competition.
- Within your strategic plan produce a growth/financial forecast.
- Devise a new business development plan with a defined and researched target list.
- Generate new sales that will further create a robust long-lasting partnership with our clients.
- Evaluate potential marketing requirements and propose marketing tools that could enhance revenue potential for new and existing accounts.
- Develop a thorough understanding existing medium to large customer base needs and requirements and prepare customized solutions.
- Negotiate contracts with the clients and meeting established deadlines for the fulfilment of each client's long-term goals.
- Communicate and collaborate with the advertising, design, marketing, sales, and logistics departments to ensure that key clients’ needs are met.
- Compiling detailed reports on account progress, goals, and forecasts for account teams and stakeholder on Salesforce CRM
- Provide all accounts with updated reports on progress and actions.
- Ensure that services are delivered to all customers in a timely and quality focused manner. This also entails resolving any issues and problems which the customers face and dealing with complaints, maintaining trust and respect.
- Lead business implementation process with operations
- Maintain a professional business development platform with target focused pipeline -reflected in customer profiles and a target list
- Cooperate closely with CP Innovations in order to develop innovative solutions replicable for other customers
What Your Experience and Skills Look Like:
- Demonstrable experience of working in the in Freight sales.
- Business Development experience
- Must have good attention to detail with great organizational skills, so will possess excellent time and project management skills.
- A strong and proven ability to build new and existing business.
- Strategic business planning experience.
- Good English language fluency
- Robust commercial acumen with a keen awareness of market trends, competitors, value added services, potential sales development opportunities.
- A keen awareness of the importance of ‘team’ and how positive interaction and involvement with other departments can facilitate the best outcome for Account development.
- Results driven and customer service driven focus ensuring a first-class service delivery and the creation of real partnerships with accounts.
- Proven experience in key account management. Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications as well as CRM software.
- The ability to handle multiple client accounts and provide bespoke solutions to these individual accounts
- Strong negotiation and leadership skills, with a proven track record of problem-solving.
- Excellent internal and external communication skills, with a key strength on influencing people. Aptitude in networking and building relationships
- The ability to deliver growth over a sustained period and ability to develop a sales pipeline through strategic and targeted planning
- The ability to prioritize and meet critical deadlines
