Product Development:
Responsible for the achievements of products targets for China, in regards to the Tradelane, Consolidation Strategy and priorities of the Product development.
Create, define, launch and control performance and profitable and future oriented product solutions by involving customers, carriers, agents and partners.
Implements and executes specific Industry Vertical (IV) solutions
Focus on core trade development to ensure sustainable business cooperation with dedicated TLDs.
Define clear HUB operational setups, routings and pricing.
Ensure up-to-date product knowledge amongst the sea operational teams within China, personally delivery trainings when and where necessary
Cooperate and coordinate with Route Management on sub-national level.
Responsible for achieving the country’s target product budget with its relevant budgeted KPIs whereas the responsibility for the KPI P&L is shared with the line management. Supports the annual budgeting process for own product within China
Ensure competitive services and prices (= getting best buying rates for best possible service) with carriers / partners / agents. Enforce core carrier policy
Procurement & Pricing:
Measure and benchmark performance indicators (productivity & profitability on national level)
National responsibility for procurement based on the corporate procurement standards (core carrier policy, space negotiations, volume commitments, volume rebates and other related topics)
Implements and ensure adherence to the local group tariffs
Sales:
Support actively the business development team including own sales with an emphasis on national market and be responsible for appropriate sales of the business field services and products according to the targets
Performs own selling activities as part of management sales, targeting strategic opportunities
Ensure product know-how is relayed to other sales organization.
Controlling :
Monitors within own region the procurement and pricing related KPIs and ensures their fulfillment
Monitor the product profitability within China and ensures corrective actions are implemented where necessary
Monitor the process & legal compliance of the respective product operations within own country
