We’re looking for an exceptional National Finance and Accounting Manager to join our management team in Bosnia - Herzegovina. Your tasks will include:

•Posting incoming invoices, bank statements and petty cash reports

•Preparing VAT reports and other periodic reports submitted to tax and other government authorities

•Managing liquidity and currency risks as well as preparing annual financial statements

•Communication with auditors and financial institutions

•Leading, motivating and developing the accounting and finance team

•Participating in business planning and proposing strategic guidelines and supporting the decision-making processes

•Establishing internal procedures and policies in line with the Company Statute and applicable legal regulations

•Managing receivables and financial risks, assessing customer creditworthiness

•Proposing and maintaining credit limits and payment deferrals

•Business control and internal reporting.

•Preparing budgets, as well as preparing monthly reports for the Company’s founder

•Forecasting trends, analyzing and interpreting business performance indicators and proposing actions for improvement.

•Conducting SWOT analysis

•Supporting strategic decision-making

Your Background:

•Good experience of managing a team as a Financial Manager with a strong commercial focus.

•Education: Faculty of Economics; Major in Finance and Accounting / Finance and Auditing / Financial Management. Proficient computer skills, MS Office; experience with AS400 and SAP

•Fluent in English (spoken and written)

•Knowledge of local accounting standards and principles

•Familiarity with IFRS standards

•Understanding of national labor legislation, tax, and financial/accounting regulations

•A proactive, motivated individual who enjoys shaping the development of a business and enhancing the skills and effectiveness of teams.
