We have just had our most profitable year ever and our expansion plans are in full flow having recently opened up new offices in Barcelona and Mexico City this year. We now have over 160 offices in 40 countries and over 4000 employees worldwide with ambitious plans in the pipeline. We are growing our sales division in Penang and we are looking for an Inside Sales Executive that has freight forwarding experience particularly within Air and Ocean Freight sales.

In this crucial role, you will source new sales opportunities by researching accounts, identifying key players and generate interest in our cargo-partner Sea and Air product portfolio whilst building strong long lasting relationships with new and existing customers. To succeed at cargo-partner you will need to have demonstrative experience in targeting, researching, and hunting new business leads and preferably a knowledge of the freight forwarding industry through education or previous experience.

What you will do:

·        Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest
·        Source new sales opportunities or secure customer visits through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails
·        Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales person for further development and closure
·        Maintain and expand database for tele-marketing
·        Telephone sales to follow up with proposals
·        Working very closely with sales person to build pipeline and close deals
·        CRM data management
·        Achieve monthly KPI
·        Understand customer needs and requirements
·        Arranging and coordination of appointments
·        Issuance of official quotation
·        Sales Administration
·        Report Analysis
·        Assistance with mail correspondence
What you will bring:

·        Diploma in Freight Forwarding or related qualifications
·        At least 3 years of experience in freight forwarding industry and in an MNC environment
·        Knowledge of both Air & Sea Cargo are preferred
·        Knowledge of customer service principles and practices
·        Customer Service Oriented
·        Achievement oriented
·        Good problem solving and ability to anticipate coming situations
·        Self-driven, good attitude, integrity and resourceful
·        Strong interpersonal and communication skills
·        Telephone and Customer Service skills
·        Strive well under stress
