Marketing Assistant

Business Development / Sales – Marketing /

    • Adjust to the yearly marketing activity plan aligned with marketing budget instructions and local management approvals
    • Keep the records of all activities and expenses in accordance to the local marketing budget
    • Maintain effective internal communications to ensure that all relevant company functions are kept informed of marketing objectives
    • Cooperate on a daily basis with different Departments in a process of preparation of marketing campaigns
    • Execute all marketing activities as well as monitors and reports on effectiveness of marketing & communications activities
    • Corporate Identity / Corporate Design: ensure compliance with brand management and corporate identity guidelines
    • Direct Marketing: prepares, co-ordinates and implements (online and print) marketing campaigns with sales focus including copywriting and basic design activities
    • Translation/Proof reading: organize translation of any marketing tools to local language and proof-reads before publishing/releasing
    • Event management: establish event concepts, organize and execute customer events, fairs, exhibitions, conferences (both 3rd party and host events) or webinars
    • Advertising: Set-up media plan for print and online advertising
    • PR: coordinate local PR activities, maintain pro-actively PR contacts/PR agency to trade & daily press, manage distribution of press releases incl. monitoring media publications, participate actively in creating local text content, including complete copywriting process/SEO techniques, collecting relevant information and connecting it to cargo-partner business
    • Website: pro-actively suggest changes and improvements for website in local language, including functionalities testing and basic UX processes
    • Social Media: pro-actively suggest content for local social media activities
    • Merchandizing and external services: Communicate with all external associates and suppliers, collecting offers, ordering necessary products/services and coordinating country’s orders
    • Sponsoring: establish cooperation possibilities with chamber of commerce, universities and organize and coordinate agreed activities according to that
    • Reporting: regular reporting to Management and Executives within the cargo-partner
    • Other: pro-actively monitor industry trends, competitors’ activities and suggest further steps to cargo-partner according to that


    • Preferably University or College degree in relevant field (Communications, Marketing, Media, Economics etc.)
    • Preferably 1-2 years of previous experience at same or similar positions (ideally experience with: using of social medias for business, marketing research, coordination, project management, reporting research results, process improvement, taking initiative, and planning)
    • Computer literate in Microsoft Office, with ability to learn new computer systems
    • Must have ability to prepare and deliver effective presentations
    • Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication and organizational skills to all levels of management and employees
    • Knowledge of languages: Fluent English is necessary / German is special advantage
    • Drivers license „B“
