Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the Road Transport Direct team on a day-to-day basis to achieve its strategic and operational objectives
- Manage teams responsible for part load (LTL) and direct truckload (FTL) shipments
- Carrying out more challenging tasks related to road freight and its delivery
- Continuous monitoring of the performance of the processes related to the delivery and transport of goods
- Liaising with customers, partners and other freight transport companies
- Active sales and business development
- Pricing and price calculation; making offers to customers
- Accepting offers and organising optimal transport
- Within own authority: issuing instructions, directives and information to be implemented and monitoring compliance
- Managing and organising the team and taking responsibility for its performance
What are we looking for?
- Minimum 1-3 years' experience in a similar position in logistics or freight forwarding or transport company
- Conversational level of English, both written and spoken
- Flexibility, high stress tolerance, flexibility
- Innovative mindset and attitude
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Positive, result-oriented, client-focused attitude
