We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) for an exciting and rare opportunity to join the dynamic educational team with the Fort Liberty School District, supporting our military families in a school-based setting. In this role, you will play a crucial role in collaborating with teachers, support staff, and families to create a positive and inclusive learning environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in applied behavior analysis, excellent communication skills, and a passion for making a positive impact on the lives of students.

Responsibilities

    • Analyze assessment data to develop individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) tailored to meet the unique needs of each student.
    • Work closely with teachers, support staff, and other professionals to ensure the effective implementation of behavior intervention plans.
    • Provide training and support to school staff on evidence-based behavioral strategies.
    • Collaborate with educators, special education teams, and other school personnel to integrate behavior support plans into the overall educational program.
    • Establish and maintain data collection systems to monitor the progress of behavior intervention plans.
    • Analyze data to make informed decisions and adjustments to intervention strategies.
    • Provide ongoing professional development for school staff on behavior management strategies.
    • Advocate for the needs of students with behavioral challenges within the school and community.
    • Collaborate with other professionals to provide comprehensive support.

Qualifications

    • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification.
    • Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Special Education, or a related field.
    • Experience working in a school setting with students who have diverse needs.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
