Kind Behavioral Health is a leading provider of Applied Behavior Analysis services, dedicated to improving the lives of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder. We are looking for a Regional Director of Operations who will be instrumental in the growth and development of team members, culture, and footprint. The Regional Director of Operations will be a critical member of our leadership team, reporting directly to the COO, and will be a valued strategic partner, working closely with the Senior Leadership Team in delivering world-class operational excellence and executing our growth plan. The Regional Director of Operations will also be a strong people leader who is able to gain the trust of others through 1:1 mentorship and group dissemination of information.

Roles/Responsibilities:

    • Responsible for professional development, coaching, training, and growth of Clinic Directors within the region, as well as hiring to expand the team as we scale. 
    • Oversee all regional support functions across areas of client intake, authorizations, scheduling, and local clinic operations across a growing, multi-facility clinical base. 
    • Instrumental in developing and maintaining a culture of transparency, collaboration, feedback, and excellence. Your role will ensure a positive and productive work environment for all team members, fostering a sense of inspiration and commitment. 
    • Frequently visit clinic locations to foster culture, inform potential process improvements and resource/support needs, regularly seek feedback and input from team members. 
    • Maintain full P&L responsibility for existing clinics and new clinics during their ramp to maturity. 
    • Manage organization to best-in-class performance across KPI’s in areas of service delivery, quality, client satisfaction, employee satisfaction/retention, team utilization, treatment utilization, profitability, and compliance. 
    • Oversee the operational launch of new clinics, ensuring client and clinician readiness in newly launched markets – This will require an ability and willingness to both project-manage others and own individual workstreams. 
    • Leverage available business intelligence data to drive impact and value across the organization. 
    • Assess the potential value of new initiatives and accurately project operational needs to deliver on such initiatives.

Requirements:

    • 5+ years of operations leadership or administration in a for-profit healthcare services setting 
    • Multi-facility healthcare background required; ABA or behavioral health experience preferred 
    • Prior C-Level exposure and familiarity working in a high-growth environment preferred 
    • Thorough understanding of operational value drivers in a third-party reimbursed healthcare services environment 
    • Proven ability to lead a team of clinicians and non-clinicians through a period of rapid organizational growth. 
    • Self-motivated leader, with the ability to operate independently to drive results in a fast-paced environment. 
    • Ability and desire to excel in both the development of long-term strategic vision, and daily operational execution 
    • Demonstrated ability to attract, develop, and retain top talent 
    • Data-based decision-maker, driving recommendations through methodical analysis over gut/feel 
    • Demonstrated sound judgment and comfort in leading strategic decision-making as well as a financial and human capital allocation for an organization 
    • Unrelenting customer-focused mindset with demonstrated delivery of world-class customer experience 
    • Unwavering dedication to learning, professional growth, and development as a priority throughout career 
    • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred 
    • Familiarity with ABA and Autism services, and/or CentralReach platform are a plus

Location:

    • Our preferred candidate is located in, or willing to relocate to, the Raleigh-Durham area of North Carolina, and is able to frequently visit local clinics.
