Carta is hiring a Director to lead the Sales Strategy & Operations team.

This is a key role at Carta, partnering directly with key leaders in Sales and Finance to support the explosive growth the company is experiencing and provide leadership on critical strategic, organizational and operational projects designed to increase revenue, sales productivity and operational efficiency. In this role, you’ll be part of a highly dynamic team supporting the growth of Carta and the creation of the future of private capital markets.

Responsibilities

    • Analyze and determine insights from key business drivers, trends, and operating metrics by translating data into insights and action
    • Develop, report, and automate key performance metrics, reporting tools, and dashboards to help drive revenue and optimize sales efficiency
    • Manage end-to-end incentive compensation process including preparing plan, goal settings for multiple sales forces, regular updates on sales performance KPIs, payouts and reporting
    • Lead sales forecasting and planning processes
    • Improve efficiency for the sales organization by establishing processes, policies, change management protocol, business requirements, and data governance to ensure effective and scalable sales processes
    • Manage Salesforce Admin and provide direction on optimization & customization of the system to support key corporate initiatives

Qualifications

    • BA/BS in a quantitative or analytical major
    • 5+ years of Sales Operations experience at a fast growing technology company
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills
    • Working knowledge of sales systems and tools (e.g. Salesforce)
    • A proven ability to be a self-starter capable of driving business results without significant supervision and prioritize across multiple projects / deadlines
    • Ability to deal effectively with ambiguity and thrive in an unstructured, fast-moving environment

Nice-to-haves

    • Start-up experience (preferably Technology and/or FinTech)
    • Understanding of B2B SaaS business model
    • Experience in management consulting or equivalent experience
