Carta is growing the Android team in our Seattle office, and looking for a senior software engineer who has extensive experience creating Android applications. You will have the opportunity to quickly contribute mission critical code and help lead the initiative for our company’s mobile strategy.

Requirements

    • 3+ years of experience developing Android applications
    • Fluent in Kotlin as a development language
    • Proficient in writing clear, concise, and easy-to-maintain code
    • Familiar with unit testing best practices
    • Strong industry experience in application architecture
    • Strong communication skills
    • Comfortable regularly working in team environments
    • Experience working with stakeholders to understand business requirements and build thoughtful solutions

Pluses

    • Functional / async programming techniques with RxJava
    • API serialization experience with Retrofit
    • Dependency injection with Dagger
    • User data management with RoomDB
